Coláiste Bhaile Chláir

Claregalway's secondary school opened on 2 September 2013 and has been building ever since. Coláiste Bhaile Chláir, at Lakeview, is co-educational and multidenominational under the Galway and Roscommon ETB, recognised by Microsoft as a showcase school for how it uses technology in teaching; work on a 23-classroom extension began in early 2016 and plans of July 2018 added more space and a purpose-built Educate Together school beside it.
